Community Literacy Center (The Firehouse)

The Community Literacy Center—affectionately known as the Firehouse—serves as the heart of Each One Teach One. Located in a historic fire station, this welcoming space is our main hub for adult education. It’s where dedicated volunteers and passionate learners come together daily to build literacy skills, pursue GED goals, and grow in confidence. With multiple classrooms, a computer lab, and our cozy Book Nook, the Firehouse is more than a learning center—it’s a vibrant community where transformation begins through education.

Each One Teach One is proud to partner with Restore Education at their Eastside Learning Center, located at 1201 E. Houston St., San Antonio, TX 78205. Restore Education is a trusted community organization dedicated to advancing education and career readiness. Through this partnership, we're expanding access to adult literacy, GED prep, and tutoring services in a welcoming and accessible Eastside location.
